About Vanessa
Before moving to New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley in the summer of 2003, I lived in Astoria, (Queens) and worked in Manhattan for ten years in travel marketing and public relations. After graduating from Columbia University’s M.F.A. program in nonfiction writing in 2002, I decided to make writing a full-time pursuit.
I’ve written everything from the snappy 150-word front-of-the-book item on happiness to a 35,000 word tome on emergency preparedness for physicians.
